Shutdown, is this an ACPI broadcast

  • When I use Webmin --> System --> Bootup and Shutdown --> Shutdown Does this send an ACPI broadcast to the server
  • Also does an ACPI broadcast cause a graceful shutdown of a server.

Why do I ask

I have my virtulmin running on a virtual machine on a TrueNAS PC, this has the option of shutting down all virtual servers using an ACPI broadcast and I want to know if it is safe.

You can check the module configuration to see which command is used for shutdown.
