Show a (other) Webmin Module on Webmin Dashbord

When I log into Webmin, I have various modules on the dashboard. I have now configured “Syslog NG” (via Webmin/Modules). I would like to have the “Syslog module” on the dashboard. However, I cannot find any documentation or instructions (on the dashboard) for adding another module.

I’m pretty sure such an option is not available. One for “Blue Sky” perhaps? however you can add a page to “favourites” which might solve it.

What do you mean by you want to have the module in the Dashboard?

There are Favorites, where you can quickly get to any particular module or screen from the favorites menu in the right hand slider. There’s also a hotkey for opening the Favorites menu.

There’s also System Customization->Custom Links, which can put things in the left-hand menu, including links to other modules.

I’m having a hard time figuring out what you’d want from the Syslog module in the dashboard, though…it’s a whole module of its own with a full page of stuff. It doesn’t have any simple stats or whatever you could reasonably put in the dashboard that I can think of.

not wishing to speak for @debianoide but my interpretation was adding it to the drop down list of the dashboard. (perhaps some mechanism/procedure) somewhat more of a local setting than the more 2-step alternatives already indicated. there are a number of other items that I would like/wish for on the dashboard but only more personal to my circumstance VMs. I am not expecting any time/effort which is why I indicated “blue sky”

It would be nice to have:
Syslog messages (e.g., the current 10 or so)
