With more data scraping going on, at least in a known sense, I’m looking at hosting something that is compatible with clients such as Thunderbird, Android, iPhone.
Nexcloud looks like it has a calender server.

That gets me to a web page pointed to a repo with this message:

I think the Next Cloud might be OK. Just more than needed. Strangely the mail list for the calendar server is still up and taking posts.
Yeah, bit overkill unless you have a customer who need all that extra stuff.
