it’s a fresh setup - Only Debian and Webmin was installed (OK, a SSH Server is running to)
I need to setup the LDAP Client on my Webmin. (My LDAP Server is a WIN AD)
My Source for Setup is =>
i click on “Un Used Modules” LDAP Client
Msg: The NSS-LDAP configuration file /etc/ldap.conf was not found on your system. Maybe LDAP client support is not installed, or the module configuration is incorrect.
I click on Install
Msg: Reading package lists…

Reading state information…
libnss-ldapd is already the newest version (0.9.12-4).
libpam-ldapd is already the newest version (0.9.12-4).
0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 0 not upgraded.
Back to “Modules Settings” and Configuration category
LDAP browser and validation settings => i write down my AD/LDAP Settings
Button: Save and Save next have exactly the same … im Back on Configuration category And the Button return to module index
(Hint: i use a user in Webmin who can do “sudo”) - if i look on the Bash to /etc/ldap.conf the “ldap.conf” don’t exist.
I haven’t gotten any further than that…
I’m grateful for any advice.
Thanks in advance.
Mike
