We seem to be having some issues with server admins regarding mail. The first problem is:
When the server’s admin of a specific virtual server logs in, they are able to see all the mailadresses and make changes. In this specific case the admin wants to activate or deactivate the automatic reply because they are on vacation.
The admin does this:
- Logs in
- Goes to ‘Edit users’ and chooses specific mailadress
- Check the box with ‘yes, send automatic reply’ and types the message they want to sent automatically.
- Saves changes
However when they click on this specific mailadress again the changes are not saved. The ‘yes, send automatic reply’ option is unboxed. Therefore the admin is not able to apply out-of-office messages.
The second issue is that server admins used to be able to open the mailbox of mailadresses by going to the specific mailbox and to ‘inbox mail file’ by pressing /hosting/domain/homes/mailadress/Maildir.
Now they get the following error: You are not allowed to read this user’s email
It seems the owner limits are not working as they should. Does someone else have this issue? Is this a bug? We have recently done some updating on our servers.
