Security in the GPL and PRO version

Greetings everyone, I am new to virtualmin, I am about to purchase a vps. I was weighing between Ubuntu or some Centos successor to use Virtualmin on some new pages. I wanted to ask some things, such as what operating system you recommend, regarding security, if for example the GPL and Pro version have the same security or protection.
I used cPanel before on shared hosting, but I want to try another panel and Virtualmin was highly recommended to me.

Reviewing the details page, I was able to understand that GPL and PRO differ in that the PRO has more options in its use, which is very important when you want to do things, in terms of security, both are safe, they both have the same level of security.
I’m not very good with English.

SERVER/VPS:
4 CPU Cores, 8 GB RAM, 80 GB SSD

I don’t have pro but I’m pretty sure security isn’t ‘crippled’ in the GPL version. If you’re making money off of it then using Pro is a nice way to support development even if you don’t need the extras.

Years ago I had a games page, a forum. Something to pass the time, I want to do or even take advantage of BlackFriday and gain experience with this panel, that’s why I ask these questions, thank you.

There are no differences related to security between GPL and Pro. Both have 2FA, firewall management, Fail2ban management, easy software updates and notifications in the dashboard, password policies, and the same update schedule (Virtualmin GPL and Pro are always updated at the same time, as well as all of our other packages), etc.

I’d encourage you to search the forum for discussions about security. It’s been discussed ad nauseam.
