Search Mail Log - Should Clients be able to freetype a destination email address

Background

The client Search Mail Log has a drop down to select the domain for the destination email which limits destinations to only be those on the server (And yes at the moment to the current users domains).

The admin area has a free type box.

Question

  • Do these mail logs include outgoing email log entrys, for instance if the destination address is iamnotreal@gmail.com you cannot currently search for it when you are logged in as a client.
  • Should the client area get a freetype input box for the destination email address and internally filter for the records only belonging to the current user (it might already do this)?
