S3 custom servers is ignored

Hello everyone,

I’m trying to backup virtualmin servers to a Minio custom server.
In the setting page I’ve set the backup server hostname (please check attachment, all confidente data are blank).

Anyway, virtualmin ignore the custom hostname and use the server name in format region.amazonaws.com

Uploading archive to Amazon's S3 service ..
.. upload failed! upload failed: ../../../../tmp/.webmin/155462-/XXXX.it.tar.gz to s3://XXXX/XXXX_06-11-2023/XXXX.it.tar.gz Could not connect to the endpoint URL: "https://s3.inits-de-hetzner-1.amazonaws.com/XXXX/XXXX_06-11-2023/XXX.it.tar.gz?uploads"

If I try to play with file /etc/hosts, I can see that (of course) SSL certificate check fails.

Can someone check the code please?
Thank you

I use AWS but the hostname looks wrong, its just a name not a hostname, like a .com

The S3-compatible server hostname has been in part blanked (the server hostname is backupservers3.XXXXX.XX).

Can someone double check the code?

Hello,

anyone?
Is someone using S3 backup features with minio backend?

Thank you
