ruby on rails install script error

I tried to install ruby on rails using the ‘Install Scripts’ and this is the error I got:

Now installing Ruby on Rails version 1.2.5 …
Failed to install script : Failed to open /dev/pts/7 : No such file or directory

I followed instructions from: http://www.virtualmin.com/documentation/id,ruby_on_rails_and_virtualmin/

and I’m using CentOS 5.

Any ideas?
