Removing php7.2.cgi?

SYSTEM INFORMATION
OS type and version Ubuntu Linux 22.04.3
Virtualmin version 7.9.0

I have in the cgi-bin directory of only one of my websites a file called php7.2.cgi that is not permitted to be deleted by virtualmin’s file manager.
In the fcgi-bin directory of all of my webpages’ there is another file, php7.2.fcgi.
What are those files used for? Are they necessary or is there a way to delete them to keep my cgi-bin directory clean?
I do not use PHP myself and have PHP-FPM 8.1.2 Server running - which I understand is required by Virtualmin.

Virtualmin does not use PHP and doesn’t care what PHP version you use.

But any web apps you have running might well care.

You can delete pretty much anything if you have permission to do so.

If non of you virtual servers need it you can just stop the server at the dashboard.
