Hello ,
i am trying to install virtualmin , but the installation stucks at this point > Removing nginx (if installed) before LAMP installation
i have webmin+LAMP preinstalled from my hosting panel. I dont think this is the problem though
I have read somewhere , that the the installation gets stuck at this point , due to phpmyadmin . I unistalled phpmyadmin and virtualmin installation was succesful . BUT , when i accessed the webmin/virtualmin panel , i encountered many issues with mysql …MYSQL was not present at all …it was missing…
Any ideas how to get through it??

Yes, that is the problem. On the download page they say that you should start with a clean install. Try that first and you will most likely have a better experience!
Actually yes…i just tried with clean install and everything is fine
