Refresh Firewall Module Rules

Hi,

A bit of newbie here for Webmin, the Firewall module works well, I make rules and save them, then apply, however when iptables is modified outside of Webmin, like Fail2ban for example, those rules dont seem to appear in Webmin Firewall, and when I apply changes it seems to erase (remove) all the rules in iptables that aremt manged within Webmin. Just wondering if this is correct? If so, is there a way for me to “refresh” or import the current iptables rules to Webmin before I use the module?

My OS is Debian 12, Webmin version 2.501

If you are using the default firewall, firewalld fail2ban will put the results in firewalld, unless you have changed the fail2ban bans to written to iptables. Check out the firewalld module and view the bans there with the list firewalld rules button
