Refresh EOL IN 2 MONTHS badge

Hello,

I have updated my Debian 10 to 11, everything went well, just a few small conf to redo following the replacement by the original files, in short, nothing bad, everything went perfectly.

On the other hand, a small annoying detail, on the Webmin dashboard, System Information > Operating System, I do have Debian Linux 11, but the EOL IN 2 MONTHS badge is still there.

Force System Information Refresh, clear the browser cache or reboot the server doesn’t change anything.

Any ideas?

OK, I did it, but it’s not automatic and you have to cheat.

Webmin > Webmin > Webmin Configuration > Operating System and Environment.

To correct the problem, I :

  • Changed to Debian 12, saved
  • Put Debian 11 back and clicked on “Update Webmin to use detected OS”, saved.
  • Restart Webmin
