Redirect servers IP to host

SYSTEM INFORMATION
OS type and version Ubuntu Linux 20.04.6
Virtualmin version Version 7.7

Hi to all,

I have few sites on same server, and today I’ve noticed in my Google search console that one site have incoming link (https:// IP ADDRESS ) which is servers IP actually. I got check and URL is working, which is why I need to disable this behaviour. I want that my server IP redirects to domain that stays on my server.
Any advice where to look?

Thanks

Everything is blurry and not sure what you mean.

OK, I’ll try make ti more clear.

I’ve noticed that when I enter https:// xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx / that site is opening, without SSL installed, but still, it opens. That is my server IP.

I want to make redirection, if someone types IP address to get domain name instead.

permanent 301 redirect, https:// xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx > https:// domainanme.com

Don’t use redirects manually.

Virtualmin lets you set any one virtual server on your Virtualmin system as a default virtual server and the IP of the Virtualmin server will display the web content of that virtual server when it is entered in a browser.

You should use this feature of Virtualmin instead of manual redirects to get the result uou desire.

For example, see https://vps01.indiax.com and http://13.233.12.13

Happens for me ok, opens with https if I type my server ip.
No sure where the directive is though.

You could try here on the default domain

I noticed this rule, it “maybe” the one.
