Hello,
Having changed the website option to redirect all requests to ssl site, I end up on the login screen of my router. This happens also when installing some of the scripts in another one of my sites. Anybody any idea what causes this and how to correct it.

What exactly did you do, little bit more info. Did you edit the .htaccess file?
Maybe you need to change the port of the login on the router, it sounds like it using 443

I made a mistake in opening port 443 on my router - after fixing this, all goes well.
