Hi,
I’m managing a server for my class of student. I would like to create a virtual host for each student; for each virtual host I would configure a website and an FTP server.
I’ve installed virtualmin 5.01 gpl on a Debian 8.4.
The hostname of the server is server1, so I can access the address server1.myschool.com from internet (apache responds correctly and I can access Webmin/Virtualmin).
In Virtualmin dashboard there is no virtual hosts.
How can I proceed to create the sub-domains for each student?
Initially I have created a virtual host for each student, but the names (student1.myschool.com) were not resolved.
Then I deleted all the virtual host and created a new main virtual-host (myschool.com) and then a sub-server for each student. Still the names were not resolved.
Any advise on how to proceed?
