Problem with awstats config

On a fresh install with the -m -b LEMP parameters, I see a problem with awstats config. Mail to root every 10m after the cronjob :

Error while processing /etc/awstats/awstats.conf
Error: SiteDomain parameter not defined in your config/domain file. You must edit
it for using this version of AWStats.
Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.conf' file, web server or permissions) may be wrong.
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).

Populating the SiteDomain parameter on the config file dont fix the problem.

this is on a new, empty install, even if awstats is disabled on the features list.

when I add a virtualserver and awstats is enabled, it adds another error :

Error while processing /etc/awstats/awstats.xxxxx.com.conf
Create/Update database for config "/etc/awstats/awstats.xxxxx.com.conf" by
AWStats version 7.8 (build 20200416)
From data in log file "/var/log/virtualmin/xxxxx.com_access_log"...
Phase 1 : First bypass old records, searching new record...
Direct access to last remembered record is out of file.
So searching it from beginning of log file...
Phase 2 : Now process new records (Flush history on disk after 20000 hosts)...
Error: Couldn't open file "/home/xxxxx_com/awstats/awstats012023.xxxxx.com.tmp.66603"

Setup ('/etc/awstats/awstats.xxxxx.com.conf' file, web server or permissions)
may be wrong.
Check config file, permissions and AWStats documentation (in 'docs' directory).

I checked the permissions on /home/xxxxx_com/awstats/ and it belong to xxxxx_com:xxxxx_com
