PHPMYADMIN AND FAIL2BAN

Hello

Users can install phpmyadmin script on

https://userdomain.tld/phpmyadmin

My problem is where I can found failed logins, I look at /var/log and I can´t found anything

/var/log/virtualmin/users.log - nothing

/var/log/mysql.err - nothing

/var/log/auth.log - nothing

I just need to find where phpmyadmin register failed logins, if it does, using cockie login.

It should be here “/var/log/virtualmin/yourdomain.tld_access_log”.

In “/var/log/virtualmin/yourdomain.tld_access_log”. I can`t found any “log” of failed attempt to login in phpmyadmin using coockie method.

Howdy,

I haven’t attempted setting that up before, but is it possible that phpMyAdmin doesn’t log failed login attempts by default?

I see two examples here of how some people set that up:
