Per domain php ini not working

I have a newer server with virtualmin managing things. I was having trouble with a PHP setup on one of my subdomains and in my debugging/testing, I appear to have broken the functionality that allows each domain/subdomain to use it’s own php.ini file (the domain php ini was working properly when first set up). Now when hit the link to see the phpinfo() from my subdomain, the path to the ini file is /etc/php/7.4/fpm/php.ini instead of the one in $HOME/etc/php.ini. I can’t figure out how to reset the default, and much more desired, behavior to use the per-domain ini. Please help!

@technomaz,

Location of “php.ini” depends on execution mode in Ubuntu. The path you’ve mentioned is correct for FPM mode.

Can explain more later as I’m out.
