Occasional issue I can't wrap my head around

Basically: look at that terminal screenshot: https://imgur.com/a/7H2Ctu9

I have an occasional issue on my dedi, nothing horrible, but on top of all it’s getting me genuinely curious.

On the present screenshot (again: https://imgur.com/a/7H2Ctu9 ), it shows a Bind that didn’t work anymore, which led to all the websites I host being taken offline. When I noticed, it had been a few hours already.
But 3 or 4 weeks ago, I had a Dovecot down with very similar errors, too.
The rarity of these events, and the fact that a restart (either of the service, as with Dovecot earlier, or a reboot of the server, as with Bind9 that wouldn’t accept to restart here) fixes it, makes it trivial, in itself.

Simply said, I don’t know what that issue may entail, or what may lead to it happening.
Plus, with my level of skill, I don’t even know where to start. If I had enough skill, I wouldn’t come to ask, right?

And yet, it’s gotten me intrigued.

Please, would that be familiar to some of you, by any chance, that kind of error?
Would you have “leads” in such a case, to know in what direction to look?

Thanks if you have a clue to share!

I don’t have an answer to your question about why services fail occasionally, but a timely alert will help you offer better uptime.

You may want to look at your dmesg file when it happens to see what went wrong.

or sometimes you’ll want to grep terms since it can get big
#dmesg | grep interface
