Webmin version Webmin 2.202

Hi everybody. I am having an issue that I am being unable to fix. I have just installed webmin in a Raspberry pi 3B with the last version of raspbian. Everything is updated.
The point is that in the NICs web (under Network Configuration) I cannot see any NIC in the “Active at boot” tab, but they are in the “Actives Interfaces”. Problem? I cannot configure/edit any of them and I do not know how to do it.
I can do it from the console with nmtui command, but not from webmin. Any clue? I have been reading all evening long and surfing internet with no result. Any help will be appreciated.

Just a guess, but if Raspbian has changed the defaults then Webmin may be looking in the wrong places. Over a hundred Linux distros are now available so it is impossible to test with each. :frowning:

Also, this site is heavily “virtualmin centric” so you might want to change the category to Webmin.

If you have the directory /etc/netplan and it’s empty delete the directory. Looks like netplan is not managing your network

Thank You for your answer. I hace been looking for a webmin forum but always I clicked on the link I have finished here.

Thanks. I will try it tomorrow.

I just mean the webmin section of THIS forum. You can do that by editing your post and changing the category.

Ok. Done. As I am a newbie, I guessed…

Well, I have checked for the directory and it does not exist.

what does webmin tell you in the network config type (arrowed) this

or this ?

No worries. Like I said, most of the questions here are about Virtualmin. Even putting a question in the Webmin section usually gets a lot of Virtualmin responses which can cloud the issue. Shouldn’t be a problem with this question but cuts down on the chance of someone telling you your OS isn’t in the A support list.
