I’ve rolled out version 2.5 of the virtualmin-nginx module to address Perl path errors in the Webmin GUI on Debian 9. This issue only affects Debian 9, but since all Debian and Ubuntu versions share the same virtualmin-universal repository, everybody on the vm/6 repositories will get it (if you installed with any 6.0.x version of the install.sh). The issue is caused by the Perl version on Debian 9 removing . from the default library path. We fixed several of those issues during VM6 development, but a few evaded detection.
hey,
I bought professional version of virtualmin. I am using Debian 9 on my server with LEMP stack. In webmin file manger I could not see unzip option even though I turn it on from the gear icon not to hide action column.
Any help would be appreciate.
I’m running a Virtualmin version 6.02 which was originally installed with an older install.sh, but has since upgraded. I’m planning an upgrade to Debian 9, however the nginx module is still on version 2.3 and I do not see an available update. The last lines in /etc/apt/sources.list are:
I recently commented out virtualmin-jessie thinking that it was not needed and possibly causing the problem, but with or without it I still see 2.3 as the latest webmin-virtualmin-nginx, and 1.6 as the latest webmin-virtualmin-nginx-ssl.
