I’m really loving the Workbench. It makes development so much easier! A couple of questions come to mind and I need to verify a process.

  1. Is there a Crypto address I can donate to? I’d love to see further development on this and want to help out if I can.
  2. I was working in file manager some and noticed that /wp-workbench-backup keeps all the gz.info and gz.dom files even when the backups are deleted using the frontend. Is this supposed to work this way?
  3. Lastly, what’s the proper way of cloning a site? I’ve tried cloning from one straight on top of the other, but get an error about a site already existing. Currently, I’m removing the web app from the destination site, then proceeding with the clone. However, this causes the site to be “missing” until the clone is complete. Is there a better way?

Regards to cloning, that Duplicator plugin is good, I used it years ago, when I used to do a lot of theming for Premiumpress, probably even better now. Maybe it is not quite what your after.

I’m specifically asking questions about the cloning feature inside of WP Workbench. Not really looking to integrate another plugin.

We don’t do crypto, but I believe @Ilia accepts crypto donations (and he would get most of a donation to the company, anyway, as he does more work on Virtualmin than any of us and receives the largest portion of the money we make).
