mod_qos and apache 2.4

hello -

my apache error log contains the following message:

[Mon Jun 27 14:00:43.191413 2016] [:notice] [pid 1957] mod_qos(009): server version is 2.4 but mod_qos should be used with Apache 2.2 only.

i am wondering if my mod_qos installed through yum is too old - i have version 11.5-1.el7

any opinions?

I’m unfortunately not too familiar with mod_qos, but reading this post here:

That suggests that there may be a different module to try on Apache 2.4, mod_reqtimeout.
