Hello,
After migrating about 20 domains from Plesk to Virtualmin, the main pages are mostly working fine. In some cases, the Apache SSL function is enabled for subdomains, but no SSL configuration (443) was generated in the Apache configurations.
Even after disabling or enabling the function or restarting Apache or the entire server, there are no changes.
When I create a new virtual server, everything is generated correctly.
This ungenerated configuration also affects awstats, spamassassin and logrotation.
Is there perhaps a way to check and repair the configuration of these migrated virtual servers?
The function for validating a virtual server ultimately displays the same errors of missing configuration files.
We’re happy to answer Pro-related questions in the public forum, as well. (I actually prefer it, as it helps others in the future, whereas private tickets are hidden from everyone except the person who created it and staff.)
I haven’t dug into this one, as I don’t have quick answers.
But, I’ll ping @Jamie, as he’s probably best equipped to answer on Plesk migration issues.
Thanks for the fast replys. I will submit a ticket. I think i am not the only one, who will run into those issues. In the next time some other will also want to migrate vom plesk to virtualmin.
with the difference that this triggers scripts that adjust the virtual server accordingly.
You notice this immediately because the corresponding adjustments run across the screen right after saving.
In most cases, incorrect or incomplete configurations can also be removed in the same way, but this is only possible if they were triggered by the scripts and not created manually.
