Hi all,
Off-topic alert
Loosely related to Virtualmin at best, so skip freely.
Over the decades, I collected a pile of scripts and bits of logic that only I knew how to use. One late night, I started turning them into small, simple Mac apps. That became Min Tools.
Netmin and Agemin are the closest to what we do here. Netmin checks DNS, mail, TLS, websites, and ports without the terminal, and Agemin encrypts files in the age format with the SSH keys you already have.
The others are not really related. Langmin for text, Pastemin for clipboard history, Keymin for skhd hotkeys, and Paletmin, a Chrome and Firefox extension that flips a tab between light and dark.
No accounts, no analytics, no servers of mine. Each app keeps its data on your device. The Mac apps are free to try for 30 days, with a free tier afterward and a Pro unlock on the App Store. Paletmin is free. The code is open at http://github.com/min-tools, and http://min.tools has the rest.
To be clear, I made these to fill gaps in functionality and to get the clean, light apps I was missing. Money was never the goal.
If you have a Mac, just give one a try. If you like it, a 5-star rating on the App Store, Chrome Web Store, or Firefox Add-ons is all I ask, and there’s no need to write anything. If you don’t, that’s fine too.
@Jamie, @Joe, sorry about the early builds I sent you. They were ad hoc signed and not easy to open, which I only realized later.
Warm regards,
Ilia
