Migrate VM from LAMP to LEMP

I’m just looking for a sanity check on this plan.
My web dev wants to use nginx over apache for tuning purposes so I have created a new VM with LEMP to migrate all the accounts to.

Can anyone give me tips or improve this plan?

  1. Ensure both VMs have the same versions of required software
  2. Export an account and import to new VM- which account first?
  3. The LEMP vm has a different internal IP. Do I change port forwarding in the firewall, or migrate all the accounts and try to change the internal IP on the VM?

Any other gotchas? There’s only 7 accounts to be moved, but I want to make sure this goes smoothly and with minimum downtime
