Hi, I hope you are well.
In Virtualmin, Manage Web Apps I can see there is available the SquirellMail software that has been discontinued for several years.

This looks to be an old not renew software that can be also not very safe to use so I’m asking if is good that are listed as available software that can be installed from Virtualmin Manage Web Apps.

This is just to suggest to you to evaluate maybe the removal from the list.
As I can see maybe many provider has removed this.

This topic is just a suggestion not a support request, just a consideration that SquirellMail seems not very maintained with updates.

It seems pretty lightly maintained, but it does seem to still be maintained. Though releases aren’t exactly coming at a regular pace. (Last News item on the website was 2021: https://www.squirrelmail.org/)

I’m inclined to agree it might be time to retire it. I’d be curious to know how many folks are using it, though. If there aren’t any known security issues in the release we’re installing, there’s no real reason to remove it, if folks use it.
