Mailboxes on parked domains in cpanel disappearing when migrating to Virtualmin

I am migrating from a cPanel server to a Virtualmin server using the backup process on cPanel and then Migrating Virtual Servers.

Mailboxes on the parked domains from cPanel are not being created in Virtualmin.
Am I creating this issue by not setting up Virtualmin to receive the backups correctly?
Has someone else had this issue before?

I’m running 3.84.gpl GPL on CentOS Linux 5.5.

Howdy,

After talking with Jamie about this, it sounds like a missing feature.

Virtualmin doesn’t currently support mailboxes in parked domains, as they’re imported as aliases, and aliases can’t have mailboxes.

Jamie can take a look at that though, and review how to make that work. Is there any chance he could take a look at your backup file? He can use that to get that feature working.

You can email it to him at jamie@virtualmin.com… make the subject something like “Backup file with cPanel Parked Domains”, and include a link to this forum thread.

Well, would it be possible for you to put it in a location on your web server, and then give Jamie a URL where he can download it?
