Mail Configuration

I am unsure as to what needs setup or modified but when I click on “edit users” in virtualmin, and then “show email client settings” , for smtp I see this:

SMTP server hostname mail.epicgamehost.com
SMTP server port 587
Use SSL for SMTP? No
SMTP password encryption type Plaintext
SMTP encryption type STARTTLS

When I try to configure Pterodactyl , it does not work. I believe it needs to be SSL enabled, and also passwords shouldn’t be stored as plain text. I can not find out how or where to change this. Any help would greatly be appreciated.

On the server in usermin I can see emails coming in, but I do not know how to change the settings so I can configure outlook and such things. I believe I need SSL enabled, and also smtp I know I need for pterodactyl as it does not allow any other options

I have no idea what that is. What encrytpion type do they allow.

The settings you posted should get any client working.
