Hi, I just got a new Debian 8 installation on a VPS,
and the ISP (hosttech.ch) installed Plesk
to enable configuration of web, ftp and email sites.
I would much prefer an open source solution,
and am looking for someone who would like to advise me
on the best options and do paid support when needed.

Hi John, get yourself a dedicated server, cheap enough these days, install VM GPL on it and away you go.
