Letsencrypt Failure on subdomain

CentOS 7

I have a couple of email only clients and setup webmail.domain.com as the DNS record to get to the mail. My upstream does not yet have IPV6 addresses assigned to my Class C.

I have LetsEncrypt set to only get a cert for webmail.domain.com. LetEncrypt is checking the DNS record for www.domain.com and in this case, it has an IPv6 record. LetEncrpt fails with:

Apache website : An IPv6 DNS record www.domain.com with address ####:####:####:####:####:####:####:#### exists, but this virtual server does not have IPv6 enabled

Why is it even looking at www.domain.com? There is no www.domain.com on this server. What can I do to fix this?

Thanks!
John

So of course after putting off posting this for a month or few, the cert updated automatically. However, if I try to create a new cert manually, I get the IPv6 error. So, it seems to be related only to a manual request.

Thanks!
