I thought this issue was fixed before I rolled it out. Is this, possibly the 6.5-1 release that Jamie rolled out at Webmin.com? He’s rolled a 6.5-2 that would correct this, if so (and the 6.5-1 package here shouldn’t exhibit it either).
But, I’ll double check in Safari before I roll the next release of the theme tonight.
Apologies for the inconvenience, regardless. The big changes in the way we’re dealing with CSS and such led to some new browser weirdness, and so we’re having to roll out incremental additional fixes, as we become aware of problems.
usermin has no verticle scroll bar in IE and the email display font size “shrank” to very small on 1024x768 screens on Windows. On my Linux boxes with firefox it’s all good cool.
Of course, I used it as the perfect reason to get everybody on firefox with the newest IE security hole.
Layout still wacked out. I’m not sure what its supposed to look like, frankly, but this is definitely inferior to the way it used to look.
The login screen form, for instance, is now stretched the width of the browser window, which looks very odd compared to the nice compact rectangle it used to be.
Scrollbar will be fixed in the next release (probably a 6.5-3 release, though I might rush 6.6 out without any other major changes).
“general width issues on all browsers”? Really? I’m not seeing this. I’m mainly testing on Firefox, but I check against Opera, IE7, and Safari about once per week. What specifically do you mean?
On the login screen, for instance, the rectangle used to be a reasonably-sized box in the middle of the browser window. Now it scales to the width of the window resulting in huge amounts of dead space on the left and right.
Things that used to be forced to a nice looking layout regardless of browser window size now expand and shrink to bizarre proportions.

OK, that one I know about. I believe it is fixed by the Webmin 1.450 release coming in a couple of days. But, I’ll check with Jamie to make sure.

Can you be specific? I thought this was fixed (it was caused by the accidental removal of a width=100% table tag in a couple of functions…but that’s been fixed in 6.5-2). I’m unaware of any other brokenness in this regard, but if I can see it I can get it fixed.
Perhaps that will also be fixed by the 100% width table fix in 1.450.
I don’t have an example of the pre-1.441 layout, but on a large screen it generally flowed better than 1.441. Perhaps the table fix will catch all of it.
