Issue with DNS Zone Record Table in Webmin

SYSTEM INFORMATION
OS type and version Debian 12
Webmin version Webmin 2.302

Hello everyone,

I am experiencing an issue with the DNS zone record table not displaying in Webmin (Photo attach). I have installed BIND9 on a Debian 12 server, and the bind9 is chrooted. Although BIND9 is working correctly, I cannot see the DNS zone record table in Webmin but if i click the “View Records File” button, i can see the record file correctly.

Has anyone encountered a similar issue or could guide me on what steps I should follow to resolve this? I’ve reviewed the Webmin and BIND configuration, but I can’t find the cause of the issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

So no master zones?

have you read the docs?

I have the default master zones, the problem is only in slaves zones with the chroot environment. If i convert the slave zone to master zone for test, the table appears. Its only with slaves

Slave is setup on a secondary name server, so that what your setting up?

Like here

I only setup slave zones in bind. Its simple but when i search the zone and list the records i can’t see the table with the records. If you see my screenshot, the table is missing.
