Hi All,
Got a bit of an odd one. I have been asked to take over hosting a clients Wordpress site (I already host a number of Wordpress sites so didn’t think there would be any issues). I am currently running the latest release of Webmin & Virtualmin, PHP 8.3 and using Wordpress Script Install for version 6.4.2.
When carrying out a restore using Updraft I get a message about the PHP version, See below:
The site in this backup was running on a webserver with version 7.4 of PHP. This is older than the server which you are now restoring onto (version 8.3.2).
I have now been into the PHP Options and set this to 7.4.33 and not only rebooted the PHP services and Apache but also tried a FULL reboot of the system. When I attempt to restore the site again I still get the same error about it running PHP 8.3.2 and which is odd as its still set to 7.4.33 in PHP Options.
I have ran some tests and due to the site design it has to be for now under version 7.4.33, If I ignore this message the site does not work and I get a Wordpress Critical Error, I tested on a test box with just 7.4.33 and it works fine there.
Do anyone have any input or help as it looks like my VirtualMin Virtual Server although set to 7.4.33 in PHP Options is still running version 8.3.2
HELP !!!
