So, I currently have a Maria DB on an independent machine which is on the same subnet. The virtual server in webmin is already fully set up towards the remote DB (currently have a matomo & wordpress db on it) so Credential issues would be out
The issue im facing is that during the install, it tries to authenticate with the username ‘username’@‘localhost’ instead of ‘username’@‘ipaddress’.
I need it to authenticate via the ip address to make sure the virtual server can communicate with the correct DB (Remote)
Would anyone know how i’d go about changing it?
