Iscsiadm: Connection to Discovery Address 192.168.1.xx failed

SYSTEM INFORMATION
OS type and version CentOS Linux 7.9.2009
Webmin version 1.990
Cloudmin version 9.6 Pro

Unable to create VM.

  1. Host fails to connect to freshly installed iSCSI server also running CentOS7.9. 2009

  2. iSCSI server is added in Cloudmin and host is set to use its iSCSI storage.

  3. TCP port 3260 opened on new iSCSI server.

  4. The same host works flawlessly for an old iSCSI server.

  5. When attempting to manually connect from iSCSI client to iSCSI server IP address from Webmin, the following error appears:

Failed to add iSCSI connection : No iSCSI targets could be retrieved from 192.168.1.99 : iscsiadm: Connection to Discovery Address 192.168.1.99 failed

  • iSCSI client (host): CentOS7.9. 2009; Webmin 1.991; iSCSI client configured to start on boot
  • iSCSI TGTd (server): CentOS7.9. 2009; Webmin 1.991; iSCSI TGTd started, allows connections from all; Firewalld TCP Port 3260 open
