Is it safe to install dig on my virtualmin server

This might be a simple question but I have to ask because just before I installed DIGon my dev site I saw files labelled as BIND9 and I did not know if this would alter my webserver.

Can someone clear up if installing DIG on to my live server will have no issues.

I always install it. So, yes, it is perfectly fine to install dig.
