Is it possible to track (somewhere in the logs) who deleted usermin modules on my virtual server?

Recently Usermin stopped working and I could access only Webmin. The hosting companie’s administrator said that someone who has permission to my account deleted 7 usermin modules. Since I know that I didn’t do that, I want to know who (with what permission, id, or access level) deleted these modules and want to show this info to the hosting company, so that they can’t bill me an extra for solving this.

Are there such a logs in Virtualmin?

Howdy,

Assuming they were removed from within the GUI, any Webmin and Usermin action is logged in /var/webmin/miniserv.log and /var/usermin/miniserv.log – you should be able to see in there who might have done that (or at least, what IP address it came from).
