Installing Virtualmin - Exits with error 100 (500 internal server error on repo)

**Operating system: Debian **
OS version: 10 (Buster; 4.19.0-16-amd64)

Hi all.

Trying to install Virtualmin and it seems to fail on step 2 of 3:

Reading state information…
E: Unable to locate package webmin
Installing Webmin: [2021-05-27 08:49:14 EDT] [ERROR] Failed with error: 100
[2021-05-27 08:49:14 EDT] [ERROR] Something went wrong. Exiting.
[2021-05-27 08:49:14 EDT] [ERROR] The last few log entries were:
root@virtualmin:~#

I’ve tried running the install script with -s to reset the repo, and that doesn’t work. When I try doing an apt-get udpate, I get:

W: Failed to fetch http://software.virtualmin.com/vm/6/apt/dists/virtualmin-buster/InRelease 500 Internal Server Error [IP: 163.172.162.254 80]
W: Failed to fetch http://software.virtualmin.com/vm/6/apt/dists/virtualmin-universal/InRelease 500 Internal Server Error [IP: 163.172.162.254 80]
W: Some index files failed to download. They have been ignored, or old ones used instead.

Trying to ascertain if this is me or if there is something else going on, outside of my homelab. Thank you.

Hi,

Sorry about this.

@Joe could you please have a look?

this isn’t you.
virtualmin.com and everything related was down earlier. looks like some kind of outage and the repo’s still seem to be broken

As of 1:40pm EST, it’s working.

Thanks for responding, everyone. Appreciate it.
