Install Process very Slow

Hi,

i got a Problem installing virtualmin via the installscript on fresh ubuntu 10.04.
Everytimes at the same point the install-process get’s stuck (not the server).
as seen in attached stuck.jpg.

The install-log adds new entrys (it goes on with the installation) but it’s so slow, it’s running for hours now.
(My Server isn’t slow)

Do you know a solution? Everything else runs properly and the system resources are far from the end.

Hmm, where is it that it gets stuck? I don’t see an attachment “stuck.jpg”.

Do you have a dedicated server, or a VPS?

But yeah, usually the installation takes 10 or 15 minutes, so a few hours is certainly unusual. Some VPS’s are capable of making that take a lot longer, and we’ve seen a lot of memory related issues during the installation on OpenVZ-based VPS’s.
