Install PHP 5.3

Good evening, my configuration is ubuntu 18.04 + webmin + virtualmin, with PHP 5.6, 7.2 and 7.4.
I would like to install PHP 5.3, what can I do?

Hi,

The easiest way is to find a repo with needed prebuilt packages.

If you don’t, have a look at this tutorial.

PHP 5.3 is EOL and not going to receive any updates, including security patches. Try fixing your app. It shouldn’t be hard and would be the better choice.

If you still want to try installing PHP 5.3, check the following link but make sure, it wouldn’t over-write your default PHP version but rather installs it separately.

I followed the procedure, now the default php version is 5.3.29.
I would like to change the default php version, what can I do?
Forward on restarting apache, I have this error “[so: warn] [pid 63] AH01574: module php7_module is already loaded, skipping”
