I can’t find any doc’s for cloudmin so I started to ask for a refund but I just let it expire but I won’t be doing that again I hope the money I paid help them get better information how to install there products.
Well I looked at some of the stuff needed to install and run Cloudmin and I’m just a noob at this stuff I think it go’s alittle to deep for someone like me. For now I’ll just stick to renting vps’s and selling domains and hosting would’ve been nice to be able to host my own vps’s would have made things alot more cost effective but keep me informed! When a noob like me can install it without problems running into something I don’t have time to figure out count me in guys:)!
Cloudmin’s already as lightweight as it gets for this sort of thing. If even that feels a tad much or starts eating into your time, then running VPS infrastructure (for other people) is going to be a real uphill struggle as well as risky.
Hosting isn’t just a case of setting it up once and calling it a day. You’re on the hook for security updates, patching, backups, dealing with abuse, handling incidents, and being available when something goes wrong. That responsibility doesn’t really get any smaller just because you’re new to it.
