Subject: I couldn’t get Let’s Encrypt SSL certificates for two of my domains in Virtualmin

Good day from Singapore,

I had registered the following 4 domain names on 5 Jan 2026 Monday.

[01] Whois turritopsis-dohrnii-teo-en-ming.website

[02] Whois turritopsis-dohrnii-teo-en-ming.space

[03] Whois turritopsis-dohrnii-teo-en-ming.site

[04] Whois turritopsis-dohrnii-teo-en-ming.store

Let’s Encrypt issued SSL certificates for the first 2 domain names but failed to issue SSL certificates for the bottom 2 domain names.

May I know what is wrong? How do I rectify this issue?

Thank you.

You need to read the error and fix the problem preventing Let’s Encrypt from validating.

Let’s Encrypt errors:

Web-based validation failed :

Saving debug log to /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log
Requesting a certificate for turritopsis-dohrnii-teo-en-ming.site and 4 more domains
An unexpected error occurred:
too many failed authorizations (5) for “www.turritopsis-dohrnii-teo-en-ming.site” in the last 1h0m0s, retry after 2026-01-05 14:34:32 UTC: see Rate Limits - Let's Encrypt
Ask for help or search for solutions at https://community.letsencrypt.org. See the logfile /var/log/letsencrypt/letsencrypt.log or re-run Certbot with -v for more details.

DNS-based validation failed :

I have already requested another Let’s Encrypt SSL certificate for my 3rd and 4th domain names in Virtualmin.

Problem solved.

Thank you very much.
