I can't update Virtualmin or Webmin

Hello, for a long time I have had 2 problems updating and I have let it go, but I want to solve it.

  1. When I click recheck and refresh configuration. I get an error when I can’t find an antivirus that I installed, but due to various problems I uninstalled it, but the system says that it’s still there somewhere and I don’t know how to completely eliminate it.

The ClamAV program clamscan does not appear to be installed on your system. Either adjust the path on the module configuration page, or disable this feature

I have looked in the plugins section and nothing about clamAV appears, however I have disabled all virus filtering, but it remains the same. I don’t know how I can eliminate it completely.

  1. When I go to the update packages section it gives me another error that I can’t solve either. I run the commands you recommend, but nothing solved it, let’s see if you can help me.

One of the configured repositories failed (RHEL/CentOS 7 - x86_64 - Virtualmin),
and yum doesn’t have enough cached data to continue. At this point the only
safe thing yum can do is fail. There are a few ways to work “fix” this:

 1. Contact the upstream for the repository and get them to fix the problem.

 2. Reconfigure the baseurl/etc. for the repository, to point to a working
    upstream. This is most often useful if you are using a newer
    distribution release than is supported by the repository (and the
    packages for the previous distribution release still work).

 3. Run the command with the repository temporarily disabled
        yum --disablerepo=virtualmin ...

 4. Disable the repository permanently, so yum won't use it by default. Yum
    will then just ignore the repository until you permanently enable it
    again or use --enablerepo for temporary usage:

        yum-config-manager --disable virtualmin
    or
        subscription-manager repos --disable=virtualmin

 5. Configure the failing repository to be skipped, if it is unavailable.
    Note that yum will try to contact the repo. when it runs most commands,
    so will have to try and fail each time (and thus. yum will be be much
    slower). If it is a very temporary problem though, this is often a nice
    compromise:

        yum-config-manager --save --setopt=virtualmin.skip_if_unavailable=true

Thank you very much for your answer.

I have already executed that command before asking here, but it is of no use to me either. I have the same problem. I CAN’T UPDATE. In addition to the problem of ClamAV is uninstalled, but virtualmin thinks it is there and I can’t disable it or anything.

ClamAV is a different issue. Disable it in Features and Plugins. If you have follow ups about that, make a new topic.
