We need more information. The OS and version for starters.

The problem is that not all packages are installed, which indicates something went wrong during installation, there should have been errors when you ran the install script, I think. It’s also possible you removed some of the necessary packages, maybe while trying to install other stuff.

Mr this is a new installation for you to put in image I paid for a vps with ubuntu the version it is mentioned on the text at the bottom and the screenshot and after I launched the installation once it was finished I accessed the server with the port of your system then the hypothesis of deletion is impossible because it is a new installation

Post the /root/virtualmin-install.log. Something had to have gone wrong with installation and there should have been errors.

I HAVE THIS BRO
-bash: /root/virtualmin-install.log: Permission denied

You can’t run a log file. It isn’t executable.

Do you know how to use scp to download the file? Or, if not, are you able to use the File Manager in Webmin to download it so you can upload it here?

virtualmin-install.log (125.1 KB)
this ?

OK, I see libdbi-perl and libdbd-mysql-perl were installed, which is what’s trying to be loaded here. So
something is wrong with
your Perl, I guess? I’m confused. Unless they were removed after installation of Virtualmin, of course.

Check:

dpkg -l libdbd-mysql-perl

And:

dpkg -l libdbi-perl

now

and i have this

Your system status is being checked to ensure that all enabled features are available and properly configured

Your system has 959.01 MiB of memory, which is equal to or greater than Virtualmin’s recommended minimum of 256 MiB
BIND DNS server is installed
None of the supported mail servers (Sendmail or Postfix) have been detected on your system. Either they are not installed or their Webmin module has not been configured correctly.

.. your system is not ready to use Virualmin

Oh, wait. Your installation didn’t finish! I was looking for those packages in the log (and found them), but didn’t scroll all the way down.

It stopped before the package installation step even completed, based on the log.

You should have seen errors or a bunch of steps incomplete. You don’t have a Virtualmin system there. I don’t know what’s missing, but it’s a lot. All of the config steps would have not been done, if it failed during package installation.

You should probably start over, and pay attention to the installation to be sure all the steps complete. When Virtualmin is installing, it will show all the steps, which will look like this:

▣▣▣ Cleaning up

[SUCCESS] Installation Complete!
[SUCCESS] If there were no errors above, Virtualmin should be ready
[SUCCESS] to configure at https://ubu22-test.virtualmin.com:10000 (or https://45.63.18.16:10000).
[SUCCESS] You may receive a security warning in your browser on your first visit.

Notice the “Phase 1 of 4” and “[1/21]”. You need to see all those steps completing! If they don’t, you don’t have Virtualmin installed.

Your installation failed somewhere around Phase 3, by the way.

ok bro i will all dell and install from first stape tankyou

Since you’re starting over, you should probably start with Ubuntu 22.04, instead of the quite old 20.04.

Unless you have a good reason to use an old version, using the current version of a Grade A OS is almost always going to be a better experience (newer versions of everything!) and you won’t have upgrade pains as soon.

This is covered in the documentation: Automated Virtualmin Installation – Virtualmin (search for “Fully qualified domain name” in the page)
