I can't connect my workbench to MariaDB

Hi, I have a question. I can’t connect my workbench to MariaDB. I tried using the user I use in Webmin to start the user assigned to my WordPress. I already added port 3306 to the firewall. But it tells me “failed to connect to MySQL.” Any ideas what’s going on? I want to connect to back up the database. Thanks.

There’s currently a bug in Virtualmin that prevents it from handling this correctly automatically.

You’ll need to manually set the database permissions under “Servers ⇾ MariaDB Database Server: Database Permissions” and make sure the correct remote host is specified.
