When I click on Create Sever it keeps loading then do nothing. I noticed that https://software.virtualmin.com is down, does creating a virtual server requires a connection to https://software.virtualmin.com?
No it doesn’t need a connection to the virtualmin repros to create a domain, please supply your system details and the error message you are seeing when you try to create a domain

It got created, after https://software.virtualmin.com is up again.
Never head of that before, your the first to report it.
I had a look at Network in inspect, no calls to virtualmin, so not sure what caused you issue but it shouldn’t be virtuamin being up.
I’m guessing the OP ment installing virtualmin rather than creating a virtual server

No, Virtualmin was already installed and several virtual servers were already created. The Issue happened today and solved by itself.
That’s some kind of bug, we’re looking into it. I thought we’d already removed any dependence on external servers when creating servers, but Ilia thinks it must have been missing a cached value for the IP.
What’s your Virtualmin version?

Please upgrade to the latest Virtualmin 7.30.2; it fixes this issue!
Jebus. I’m gonna start banning folks who don’t tell us their version at the start of the topic. We just wasted a bunch of time trying to figure out what could be hanging, and it’s a bug fixed long ago!
