How to reset VirtualMin's main host to port 10000 during installation

Hello.

Initially, just after installing Virtualmin, I could actually install it subdomain.domain.dn:10000. But I don’t know what wrong manipulation I did, so that it now goes to domain.dn:10000 (instead of subdomain.domain.dn:10000 originally). So, is there a way to:

1 - Reset Virtualmin (I will think about it if possible because before doing that, I will take into consideration that it would delete all the created virtual servers and email addresses) ???

2 - Simply reset to the initial state by returning the connection URL to subdomain.domain.dn:10000 ???

Thank you for helping me through your answers.

You have done no wrong manipulation.

Virtualmin will be available on port 10000 of each and every domain that you host on Virtualmin. This is a feature.

You do not need to do anything to correct it. You do not need to reset Virtualmin or anything else that you have described.

If you do not want this feature on domain.tld, go to Virtualmin → Edit Virtual Server and uncheck the box captioned Enable Webmin Login

I am not disputing @calport 's solution.

but I have made that mistake myself and fixed it through going to the Dashboard and clicking on the incorrect “hostname” domain.dn which takes one to Hostname and DNS Client where I changed the “hostname” to subdomain.domain.dn it did what I expected, but then I manage all my domain’s records on the VM provider’s site. So could be wrong if you are using Webmin/Virtualmin to manage DNS.

I think @Stegan"s theory is sound. There might have been a wrong manipulation by @chegmarco - he might have changed the hostname.

Good catch @Stegan

How to set this following “Hostname and DNS Client” specially the part of DNS servers circled in Red on this following Screenshot:

I wonder where these IP Address came from knowing that there are different from my Ubuntu Server IP Address ???
Also, I want to know if the part where there is Resolution order is correct ???

Please help me.

Resolution order: should be “Hosts File” followed by “DNS” as default in the drop down (I have never seen anything else)

As for “DNS Servers” I’m afraid I have never had cause to change/Doubt their default settings (mine are also different from my Server IP Address ?!)
