In System Settings -> Server Templates, for Default Settings -> Mail for Domain, I have put in 500Gb for users. Did it a LONG time ago.
but all my users have so much more emails. I one user with over 5Gb, my server keeps filling up. I cant see how to enforce this 500Gb, with email reminders etc.
if I go to edit the user in virtualmin, there is a tab “Quota and home directory settings” but it only shows “Home directory” not quota.
If I Recheck Configuration it says:
“Quotas are not enabled on the filesystem / which contains home directories under /home and email files under /home. Quota editing has been disabled.”
If I go to Webmin -> System -> Disk Quotas, it shows:
/ Linux Native Filesystem SCSI device A User and group quotas inactive Enable quotas
But clicking the green Enable Quotas button doesn’t do anything.
My server is with Linode, a cloud server provider, is it something to do with the VPS I have? How can I enforce quotas, its getting a bit ridiculous the amount of emails I have for people on the basic cost they pay. I am having to email them to ask if they can delete or archive email but they dont do it.
Thanks
Laurence
